ORU guard Pearson lost for season (Muskogee Phoenix)

TULSA (AP) — Oral Roberts head coach Scott Sutton says junior guard Rod Pearson is lost for the season with a torn anterior cruciate knee ligament. Sutton said Saturday an MRI scan confirmed Pearson suffered the ACL injury in a loss at Virginia last week.

Free portraits for military families (Muskogee Phoenix)

Free portraits for military families will be offered by the Muskogee Shutterbug Club, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Dec. 12 at the Muskogee Public Library. It is open to immediate family members of loved ones serving in the military.
